Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God..
Psalm 42:11
Who doesn't get depressed, frustrated, missing something every day? The human solution to these problems is: try to acquire things or fill this emptiness. How? They think: "If I act like this, or like that, I will solve it", and usually the solution does not satisfy, because many other needs arise every day, and the worst is when they seek a wrong solution, which ends up bringing more anguish.
The right paths exist, such as: seeking God's face in prayer. Adjusting oneself in a cognitive consonance. What is this? It's thinking, talking to yourself, "Do I really need this? What's the difference between having it or not having it? Can't it be something simpler that also solves it?" HAVING IS NOT ALWAYS THE SOLUTION TO NOT HAVING!
